Diane Griffin Powers
Diane Griffin Powers, 69, of Roanoke Rapids, died Wednesday, September 12, 2018.
She was a native of Halifax County, and was the daughter of the late Robert and Mildred Louise Lassiter Griffin.
She is survived by her daughter, Vicki P. Johnson and her husband, Sheldon, of Roanoke Rapids; two granddaughters, Blair Johnson and her fiancé, Chris Barus, of Rocky Mount, and Paige Johnson of Roanoke Rapids; three great-grandchildren, Kaylin Humphries, Drake Johnson and Rylee Fleming; her nephew, Scott Griffin and his wife, Becky, of Greenville; her great-nephew, Kyle Griffin; lifelong best friend, Phyllis Morgan of Roanoke Rapids.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. at Community Freewill Baptist Church in Weldon.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. at the church.
